Project Overview
The brief for this project was to provide a climate controlled environment for storage of a private collection of 10 vintage Aston Martins.
This build came with its difficulties as a large section of the building is underground so this meant the construction of reinforced concrete walls to carry a Sedum green roof to help the building blend into its surroundings.
The area is fitted with underfloor heating and humidity control to ensure the perfect environment for the classic cars.
Externally the walls are of a traditional construction using Purbeck stone and purpose made joinery and internally the cedar roof cladding is fixed between the castellated steel beams.
